Hey hey,
Well I made it, I completed my first charity shop trip! I decided to start with those closest to home and gradually move my way outwards.
Yesterday seemed the perfect day for a walk, so after class I headed down Hollow Way road towards Upper street. The sun was shining and it felt like spring had finally decided to start show it's face.
The first couple of shops I headed into were a little disappointing and i came away empty handed, however after trotting further down the road I found the Salvation Army.
Upon opening the door I was greeted with a huge smile belonging to a distinguished man who goes by the name of John. He brought me into the shop, told me to enjoy having a browse through the rails and if I needed anything just to shout. I've never been treated to a warmer welcome and felt as if I had been visiting the shop for years.
I headed straight over to the shoes and they didn't disappoint me at all, as there standing proudly in the middle were these little treats......
They just fitted with my mood perfectly, the sun was shinning, you could finally feel spring was on it's way and it just the right temperature to walk around without a coat. Gone where those chunky layers, today I'm finished with heavy scarves and gloves, the sun had found us once again!
Feeling this good only let my mind wander on to summer time, it wont be long until we are allowed to walk out the front door open toed. I love sandals, I love the feeling that my feet are free and are allowed to enjoy the fresh air and open road.
These little beauties where a steal at only £6 and with a colour like that they could be teamed up with absolutely anything. They could even be worn with a casual outfit in the day time or for an event at night time, oh I cant wait to let my feet slip into them in the summer days to come, summer has just become a whole lot more exciting!
